CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE)

Check out the College and Career Advantage CTE Courses offered through South Coast ROP.  These courses allow high school students to explore careers through a number of for credit courses with some qualifying as college prep courses with a GPA bump.  Others also dual college and high school credit.  Students may complete a 3-4 course series in an industry sector interest and earn Certificates of Completion in various CTE Pathways or simply choose to take a variety of courses to explore their career interests.  Several courses include an internship component with partnership agencies. CTE Pathways are offered at many of CUSD high school locations as well as at the CCA College and Career Campus in San Juan Capistrano.  Below are the industry sectors where courses may be offered:
